Dr Max Watkins, Technical Director of Vita, said: "We have lots new to talk about at Apimondia this year, but of course communication is two-way and we relish the opportunity to hear the experiences of beekeepers from across the globe. By listening to the challenges that beekeepers face and to the papers that are presented, we can target our research and development efforts to areas of greatest need."

Jeremy Owen, Vita Sales Director, added: "As a long-time sponsor of Apimondia we really look forward to this biennial gathering. It gives us the opportunity to meet many of our distributors and customers in one place, and by doing so we gain insights into the most current beekeeping concerns and issues. It’s a terrific forum for us to meet old friends and make new ones."
