The Official Visit of the President of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations Apimondia, Mr. Gilles Ratia, to Ukraine

alt=The President of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations Apimondia, Mr. Gilles Ratia, visited Ukraine on 8-15 April 2013. The objective of the Official visit of the President was to participate in the official protocol meeting of the Executive Council of IFBA Apimondia which was dedicated inter alia to considering the stage of preparation of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress.

The Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress agreed upon the Program of the official visit of Apimondia President to Ukraine with the Secretariat of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations Apimondia.

The Program included:

  • the visit of the office of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress and acquaintance with the Organizing Committee employees – 8 April 2013

  • the visit to the Luhansk National Agrarian University – 9 April 2013 (News)

  • the participation and the report at the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Beekeeping as integrating element of the sustainable development of the agrarian sector” at the Luhansk National Agrarian University – 9 April 2013 (News)

  • the participation in the TV Program “Important people” of the Luhansk Channel IRTA – 9 April 2013 (News)

  • the visit to the Scientific and Educating Production Center of Beekeeping of Luhansk Region of the LNAU and the apiary of the Luhansk National Agrarian University – 10 April 2013 (News)

  • the inspection of tourist routes of the Tourist Program of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress in Donbass Region – 11-12 April 2013 (News 1 and 2)

  • the visit of the Ukrainian Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products and the meeting with the Director of the Laboratory, the Coordinator of the scientific issues, Mr. Serhiy Dmytrovych Melnychuk – 12 April 2013

The President of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations Apimondia, Mr. Gilles Ratia, could see and estimate the level of the preparation to the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress, the professionalism of the members of the Organizing Committee and their Partners. The President of Apimondia gave favorable assessment to the organization of the Congress preparation and the work done, ensured that the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress will be successful.

Gilles Ratia remained satisfied by his visit to Ukraine and was positively impressed by Ukrainian hospitality.
