Chernihiv beekeepers actively cooperate with the Organizing Committee

The members of Nizhyn division of NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” held the meeting on 26 January 2013. The following guests attended the meeting: the Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress, the Head of the Council of the NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” Mr. Shmulia S.O., the main specialist of the State veterinary and phytosanitary service of the Nizhyn city Mr. Prokopenko O.M., the Nizhyn Raion veterinarian Mr. Koshovy A.M., the Head of the Nizhyn city veterinarian laboratory Mr. Fill O.V., the Head of the inspection of the special transport and road supervision Mr. Avramenko O.V., the Chief agronomist of agricultural department Mr. Fursa D.V.
The members of the meeting discussed the preparation of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress. The Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress talked about the stage of the preparation process and the opportunities of the members of division of NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” in the projects and programs of the Congress. The members of the NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” were announced to obtain an opportunity to participate in the Congress in the capacity of Full Delegates during 5 days of the Congress.
The representatives of the city state institutions announced the Order No 666 “On the approval of fees for the services of the veterinary medicine, plant protection, preservation of the right to use types of plants provided by the authorities and institutions of the State veterinary and phytosanitary service system”. They also mentioned the state of the veterinary service provided to the beekeepers of the Nizhyn Raion, the new conditions and rates of laboratory tests for beekeeping products, planning of the melliferous base of the region for 2013 and new conditions of the special vehicles registration.
The members of Nizhyn division of NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” actively participated in the discussion of the abovementioned issues. The meeting was held in the new office provided to the organization due to the hard work of the head of the Chernihiv Oblast division of the NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” Mr. Balash P.I. and the support of NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” and the Nizhyn Raion Council headed Mr. Bouzoun O.V.
The enhancement of activities of the Chernihiv oblast division of NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” for the period of the Congress preparation along with the introduction of the program of beekeeping mentoring and teaching for the youth of the raion were decided upon. The Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress Mr. Shmulia S.O. met the editor of the Nizhyn city newspaper “Visti” Mr. M. Bilohusenko. They agreed upon the media cooperation between the newspaper and the Organizing Committee, “Visti” providing the media coverage of the preparation and the holding of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress.
