Sloboda Ukraine beekeepers for the modern beekeeping

The events held by the Sloboda Ukraine beekeepers have become traditional events for the Ukraine’s specialists of the beekeeping branch.

The Scientific and Practical Conference “The Rebirth of organic beekeeping of the Sloboda Ukraine” and the related exhibition and fair “The beekeeping and apitherapy 2013” were held on 16 February 2013 in the Kharkiv Club of Officers.

The scientists and the specialists of the organic beekeeping, the representatives of the state authorities and the NGOs made reports on the organic beekeeping.

The information on the stage of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress preparation was reported by the Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress, the Head of the Council of the NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” Mr. Shmulia S.O.

His report included the objectives of the main Programs of the Congress, namely the Scientific Program “Beyond the hive: beekeeping and the global challenges”, the International Exposition ApiExpo 2013, the Tourist Program of Ukraine. He also mentioned the Cultural and Scientific projects including the “Innovation technologies in beekeeping”, “Modern Art Gallery”, “Beekeeping Museum” and the terms of the Congress Programs and Projects Participation.

Mr. Shmulia emphasized that “The main objective of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress is to attract attention of international community to beekeeping, to investigate the possibilities of the beekeeping to contribute to solving the global problems of the modern world and to promote the beekeeping products, the consumption of these products facilitating the healthy way of life”.

The members of the conference greeted the President and the Secretary of the newly created NGO “The Union of the professional beekeepers VITA-APIS” Mr. Sanin Y.K. and Mr. Romanchenko M.A. and wished them fruitful work to the benefit of Ukrainian beekeeping.
