Beekeeping Museum of Halychyna in Lviv

On January 23, 2012 TetyanaYuriyivnaVasylkivska and the Head of the Lviv regional organization "Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine" VolodymyrVasyliyovychShevchuk held a meeting with the director of the Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life (Shevchenkivsky Hay) Ivan Kosachevych.

Oneofthe Congresstouristroutes is going to be a route through Halychyna (Galicia). The Congress delegated will get will get acquainted not only with the apiary places, but also with the historical and cultural values of the Lviv city, cities of Lviv region.

Beekeepers from Busk (Lviv region) will introduce their beekeeping farms and of course the great Olesky Castle to the foreign delegates of the Congress. Doctor of veterinary scientists, Professor, corresponding member of the UAAS, Director of the State Scientific-Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives Kotsyumbas I. Y will be proud to demonstrate the innovative developments of the Institute to the Congress delegates. And after the visit to the advanced laboratories of the Institute and meetings with experts, guests will have a chance to admire the magnificent architecture of the city. The Schevchenko Grove will open the history secrets of the region and welcome Congress delegates in the beekeeping museum.

Ivan Kosakevych accepted the offer to hold the Honey Feast in Shevchenko Grove in August 2012. The beekeepers of the region will have an opportunity to present the best honey varieties of the new honey harvest to the Lvivans and visitors of the city. Such Honey Feasts can become traditional in Lviv region.
