to the APIMONDIA SYMPOSIUM "APIECOTECH 2012".
The organizers of the Scientific Symposium — the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations Apimondia and the Serbian Federation of beekeeping organizations.
Topic of the Scientific Symposium — quality of beekeeping products and the influence of various factors on the beeproducts quality. The beekeeping scientists and researchers from all over the world spoke at the Symposia. The reports covered the information on beeproducts quality, influence of beekeeping methods and technologies and environmental influences on beekeeping producst quality. The reports were presented by the President of Apimondia Gilles Ratia (France), General Secretary of Apimondia Riccardo Jannoni-Sebastiani (Italy), Head of the Scientific Commission of Apimondia “Beekeeping technology and quality” Etienne Bruneau (Belgium), Presidentof the European Commission of Apimondia Philip McCabe (Ireland).
The Serbian Beekeeping exhibition ApiExpo was held as part of the Scientific Symposium. The equipment of Serbian companies producing wax, veterinary medicinal products, apiarian implements and equipment were presented at the exhibition.
The producers of honey and beekeeping products were presented in an interesting way. Bright stands, variety of beeproducts, tasting of the best varieties of honey wowed all visitors.
Guests from European countries visited the beekeeping farms during technical day tours.
Beekeepers-practitioners, scientists, researcher from Slovenia, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Poland and other countries arrived at the Scientific Symposium ApiEcoTech 2012.
During the meeting with Vasylkivska T., the President of the Serbian Federation of beekeeping organizations Dr. RodoljubZivadinovic conveyed greetings to all Ukrainian beekeepers and wished them success in the preparation to the XXXXIII international Apimondia Congress.
