Welcoming Speech of Anatoliy Tkachenko
From 2009 as a Director of the International Exhibition Centre I've confirmed with the official letter my support of holding the XXXXIII International Apimondia Congress in Ukraine. The International Apimondia Congress is an event of the international scope that is going to be visited by the leading experts, researcher, scientists, and representatives of regulatory laboratories from more than 120 countries.
The International Exhibition Centre is a modern complex of world-class organization of premium-class international exhibition forums, congresses, presentations, cultural and artistic shows.
It’s the biggest expo building in Ukraine with 58000 square meters of total area, including 28 018 square meters of exhibition area, which engineering capability allows realizing of the most daring exhibition projects and holding of events of different scale and levels of complexity.
The complex infrastructure consist of a congress-hall and fourteen conference halls with capacity from 90 up to 600 places, negotiation rooms, premises for valuables and arms keeping, cafes and fast food restaurants, WCs, checkrooms, air conditioning system. Convenient driveways lead to parking lots for 2 500 cars.
The centre can provide each exhibitor and organizer of events with water and power supply and drainage, Internet access, direct phone number, telecommunication systems with simultaneous translation into appropriate language, office accommodations, banking and many other services.
Every year over seventy scaled events took place at the International Exhibition Centre. And during the last three years more than 200 international exhibition events took place in the territory of International Exhibition Centre, with about 50 thousand exhibitors and nearly two million visitors.
The most socially significant events of the last period were conducted at the International Exhibition Centre such as: 5th European Conference of Environmental Ministers "Environment for Europe" (21-23.05.2003, that gathered the executives from 55 countries: ministers on environmental protection and 18 international organizations); Executive Assembly of the World Energy Council (10-12.09.2003,attended by 344 delegates, including the WEC executives, members of national energy committees, chairpersons and key experts of energy ministries and organizations as well as their attendants from 65 countries of the world); 7th European Ministerial Conference on the Mass Media Policy (8-12.03.2005, government delegations from 44 countries). The International Exhibition Centre was granted a special certificate of the Council of Europe for the high standard of this event; 2nd Kyiv International Book Fair (11-14.05.2006) International Media Forum "Ukraine on World Information Map" (14-16.11.2006), 8th European Ministerial Conference on Migration (4-5.09.2008, government delegations from 40 EU member states and observers from 20 countries).
The International Exhibition Centre works also with different service companies, the media and concert organizations, figures of show business. Together with the main partners IEC can provide customers with the different activities at the high international level ensuring the proper media and PR-support and conduct highly cultural programs involving national and international stars and VIP-persons.
The International Exhibition Centre is a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry – UFI in two categories: "exhibition organizer" and "Exhibition Centre".
Unique features of the International Exhibition Center is giving an opportunity to realize the most creative projects of any size and scale in all possible directions and areas .
