Dear Mr. Ratia,

With this letter, I would like to assure you and the whole beekeeping community that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine officially supports and encourages conducting of the XXXXIII International Apimondia Congress in September 2013 in Kyiv. I will be glad to discuss the Congress preparation issues and ways of possible cooperation between the Ministry and the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations “Apimondia” during your visit in July 2011.

To create a consolidated plan of actions and business terms and conditions we prepared the Memorandum of Intent between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the XXXXIII International Apimondia Congress.

The XXXXIII International Apimondia Congress, which will host about 12 thousand guests from more than 100 countries in September 2013, promises to become an important representative forum in the history of Ukrainian agricultural sector. I hope that this Congress will not only open a new epoch in the development of the national beekeeping, but by joint efforts we will be able to raise this event to the new level.
