On September 25, the ceremony of transfer of Kolar of Apimondia from the President of the 42nd International Apimondia Congress 2011 Lucas Martinez to the President of the ХХХХІІІ International Apimondia Congress 2013 Tetyana Vasylkivska was held during the Closing Ceremony of the 42nd International Congress Apimondia. At the end of the ceremony a dance group presented Ukrainian hopak to the entire world beekeeping community and the “bread and salt” invitation to visit Ukraine.

23 вересня 2011 року під час проведення Конгресу проходила чергова Генеральна Асамблея Міжнародної Ферерації Бджільницьких Асоціацій Апімондії. На ній приймали поправки до уставних документів, зачитували звіти роботи організації, приймали нових членів, узгоджували плани на наступні два роки, а також проводили голосування за членів Виконавчої Ради Апімондії. Нововеденням у 2001 році стало включення до Виконавчої Ради п'яти Президентів Континенальних Комісій Апімондії.

A number of national cultural events were held during the 42nd International Apimondia Congress. On September 23, a party was held by Argentines, organizers of the congress. On September 24, beekeepers of the Republic of South Korea invited the Ukrainian delegation to the gala dinner, and in the evening the whole Ukrainian delegation visited the Chinese evening.

After the General Assembly of Apimondia held on September 22, 2011 all members of the national beekeeping associations moved to Ukrainian Evening in Argentina. It was held on the summer terrace "Central", located in the exhibition center "La Rural". Guests of the evening enjoyed Argentine, Italian and continental cuisine, tasted Ukrainian horilka flavoured with honey and pepper and were able to see the Ukrainian folk dances and hear Ukrainian folk songs.

Representatives of the Organizing Committee of the ХХХХІІІ International Apimondia Congress conducted a number of official meetings within the work at the 42nd International Apimondia Congress held in Buenos Aires from 21 to 25 September 2011.
