Our next honey trip to Australia in 2007. At the XXXX World Congress of International Federation of Beekeeping Associations Apimondia the NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” became a full member of the International Federation Apimondia and represented Ukrainian beekeeping. Participation in the meetings of the General Assembly of the Congress, stand at the International Exhibition ApiEkspo - 2007, participation in scientific conferences, seminars and the struggle for the world awards at the World Honey Contest 2007, exploring Australian beekeeping objects - locations where members of the official Ukrainian delegation showed up initiatives and got the good results.
At the World Honey Contest 2007, which had a high rating among all events of the Congress Apimondia - 2007, Ukraine won the biggest number of awards among over 100 participating countries, excepting the hosting team. This was the highest achievement of Ukrainian beekeeping on the international arena in its history.

“We attended Apimondia Congress for the first time in August, 2005 in Dublin, - Tetyana Vasylkivska says. - We were impressed by the level of assembly and the opportunities opened up for Ukrainian beekeeping with access to the international arena. We decided to join the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations Apimondia, become a full member and thoroughly prepare for the next Congress in order to represent Ukraine to the world in the best way.”
The Irish Congress was a kind of school experience and contacts for the "Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine". Each Congress Apimondia is a celebration of beekeepers from all over the world and a reporting meeting of colleagues and associates. The president of the Irish Congress Philip McCabe, the president of the Federation of Irish Beekeepers’ Association, is extremely active person, who was happy to share information on the beekeeping industry of Ireland, on the tasks and expectations of the Congress with beekeeping fraternity.

The President of the Organizing Committee Tetyana Vasylkivska’s speech culminated the Closing Ceremony of the 42nd International Congress Apimondia in Argentina. The Communication Coordinator of the Organizing Committee Yuriy Riphyak provided interpretation of the speech. Other members of the official Ukrainian delegation were present at the scene of “La Rural” accompanied by the representative of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Argentina.
