Ukrainian beekeepers actively participate in the preparation of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress

The Office of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress is a kind of beehive with an active life and work within. The daily routine of the All-Ukrainian NGO “Brotherhood of Ukrainian Beekeepers” and of course the preparation of the beekeepers community’s Global event, namely the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress, is being done here.

Tender for providing hotel services for the delegates and participants of the XXXXIIII International Apimondia Congress

Dear colleagues!

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to announce a tender call for providing hotel services for the delegates and participants of the XXXXIIII International Apimondia Congress (hereinafter - the “Congress”).

Tender submission dates: February 20th -26th , 2013.
Consideration of tender proposals: February 27th – March 2nd, 2013.

The results of the tender call will be announced on March 4-5th, 2013.

The tender requires:

• Accommodation of the Congress delegates and participants at the hotels located in Kyiv closest to the International Exhibition Center within the period between September the 20th and October the 20th 2013;
• Securing the lowest possible room rates for the Congress delegates, as well as free breakfast and other possible benefits from the partner hotels;
• Negotiating maximum amount of complimentary rooms in the partner hotels;
• Providing the Congress delegates and participants that are staying in the partner hotels with all the necessary information as well as arranging free welcome desc at every partner hotel
• Transfers from the Kyiv airport/ train station for the delegates and participants of the Congress that will stay in the partner hotels;
• Transfer between the partner hotels and the venue of the Congress - International Exhibition Centre between September 29th and October 4th.

Central Union of Turkish Beekeepers (TAB) bids for Apimondia Congress 2017 holding

The President of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress Mrs. Tetyana Vasylkivska held the meeting with the President of the Central Union of Turkish Beekeepers (TAB) Mr. Bahri Yilmaz last week.

Chernihiv beekeepers actively cooperate with the Organizing Committee

The members of Nizhyn division of NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” held the meeting on 26 January 2013. The following guests attended the meeting: the Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apicultural Congress, the Head of the Council of the NGO “Brotherhood of Beekeepers of Ukraine” Mr. Shmulia S.O., the main specialist of the State veterinary and phytosanitary service of the Nizhyn city Mr. Prokopenko O.M., the Nizhyn Raion veterinarian Mr. Koshovy A.M., the Head of the Nizhyn city veterinarian laboratory Mr. Fill O.V., the Head of the inspection of the special transport and road supervision Mr. Avramenko O.V., the Chief agronomist of agricultural department Mr. Fursa D.V.

Cooperation with Producers and Community

On December 14, 2012 a Board Meeting and General Meeting of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apimondia Congress was held in the International Exhibition Center (Kyiv).

The Purpose of the meeting: the discussion of opportunities, prospects and terms of participation for Ukrainian producers working in the field of beekeeping, in the Programs of the XXXXIII International Apimondia Congress to be held from September 29 to October 4, 2012 in Ukraine in Kyiv at the International Exhibition Center (the Tourism Program covers all regions of Ukraine and will take place from September 23 to October 14, 2013).

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director of the Livestock Markets Department of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr A. Pyshcholka.

The meeting was also attended by the invited heads of enterprises – producers of beekeeping products, beekeeping equipment and implements, exporters of beekeeping products, queen breeding experts from the AR of Crimea, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattya, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovograd, Kyiv, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolayiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernihiv regions, Kyiv and Sevastopol, as well as representatives of foreign comoanies: ATS Ukraine (France – Ukraine), Primavet-Sofia Ltd. (Bulgaria).

The meeting was attended by the invited Heads of regional working commissions of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII international Apimondia Congress; heads of beekeeping NGOs that are partners of the Organizing Committee of the XXXXIII International Apimondia Congress.

The Director of the International Exhibition Center, the Organizer of the Exhibition ApiExpo 2013 Anatoliy V. Tkachenko delivered a welcoming speech at the meeting.
